Spicy Gochujang Chicken is a Korean dish that is a favorite of many people. This Korean fried chicken is very suitable when it is a side dish and eaten with warm white rice. This spicy gochujang chicken recipe will make you addicted. If you want to make your own at home, here's the complete recipe below.⁣

Ingredients:
  • 8 pieces of chicken thighs (can be replaced with mine or chicken fillet)
  • 1/2 cup sweet peppers
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 tbsp gochujang
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • Roasted sesame seeds for topping
  • Green onions for topping ⁣
How To Make:
  1. In a bowl, combine the gochujang, low-sodium soy sauce, water, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic and mix well. ⁣
  2. Set aside. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl. ⁣
  3. Add 5 tablespoons of the gochujang mixture into the bowl of chicken and combine well. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat the canola oil on a large pan over medium heat.
  5. Add sliced onion and sweet peppers in the marinated chicken and cook for about 5 minutes, stir-frying the chicken pieces once in a while to cook each side of the chicken pieces.
  6. Increase the heat to high and add in the rest of the gochujang sauce mixture. ⁣
  7. Stir-fry for about 3-5 more minutes until the sauce is thicker and the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  8. Serve in a serving bowl and top with roasted sesame seeds and green onions.⁣
