Delicious Lemon Pie With Meringue Whipped Cream

This easy Lemon Pie recipe features a homemade graham cracker crust, creamy lemon filling, and homemade whipped cream on top or can be substituted for cheese cream. The perfect and delicious dessert for lemon lovers. Let's see what materials are needed.

  • 250 gr of all-purpose flour (2 cups)⁣
  • 125 gr of lard, butter or margarine (1/2 cup)⁣
  • 1 Eggs
  • 4-5 tablespoons of cold water⁣
  • A teaspoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar⁣

For the filling:
  • 2 cups of condensed milk⁣
  • 4 eggs yolk
  • 1/4 cup of lemon juice

For the merimgue:
  • 1/2 cups of sugar⁣
  • 4 eggs whites
  • 1 teaspoon lemon jice
How to Make Lemon Pie With Meringue Whipped Cream:
  1. Start by preparing the tartlet dough.
  2. In a deep container, place all the ingredients and mix well with your fingers, once they are all integrated, form a ball and reserve it wrapped in oiled kitchen plastic in the fridge for 1 hour.⁣
  3. Once the dough is cold, flour the counter and stretch the dough with a rolling pin. Place it on a greased tart pan, 20 centimeters in diameter with a rim, or divide it into portions and place them in small individual molds.⁣
  4. Prick the dough with a fork and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes. Then, remove from the oven and reserve.⁣
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the filling, mixing the condensed milk with the lemon juice and the egg yolks.⁣
  6. Pour this mixture into the tartlet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20-25 minutes or until set.⁣
  7. While it cools, prepare the meringue. Beat the whites with the sugar in a bain-marie, when the sugar dissolves and the whites are whipped, remove from the heat and add the lemon juice. Keep beating until you reach the point of snow.
  8. Distribute the meringue evenly over the tartlet, forming peaks with the help of a pastry bag and gratin at 250°C to brown the meringue. You can decorate with lemon zest to taste.⁣
