Chocolate Oatmeal Bars Flapjack Recipe Without Oven

Skuy Food - Flapjack is a very popular British oat bar. This one snack at a glance with a granola bar, made of oats and chocolate.

Flapjacks are fairly easy to make, only taking about 30 minutes. You can make flapjack according to taste, mix it with chocolate, nuts, various dried fruit, or even toffee.

This protein bar recipe can be tried for those of you who want to be practical because it doesn't require an oven. You just simply chill the dough in the refrigerator until it hardens.

Here's a Flapjack recipe that you can try at home.

Necessary materials :

  • 100 grams of oatmeal
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 100 milliliters of coconut milk/coconut cream
  • A pinch of himalayan salt
  • 2 tablespoons palm sugar
  • 10 grams of almonds

How to make :

  1. Cut the chocolate bars into small pieces.
  2. Place in a large bowl, and set aside slightly for topping.
  3. Pour the coconut milk into a saucepan and heat it until it foams.
  4. Don't forget to add palm sugar and stir until combined.
  5. Once cooked, remove and put into a bowl with chocolate.
  6. Add oatmeal and almonds, stir until well combined.
  7. Pour into a tin that has been lined with parchment paper.
  8. Press until smooth, then put in the refrigerator.
  9. After that prepare the topping using the chocolate that has been separated earlier and melt it.
  10. Pour the melted chocolate into a plastic container to decorate the cooled, hardened chocolate oatmeal bars.
  11. Cut into pieces and put on a plate.

Tips : if you use a smaller baking pan, then the flapjack you make will be thicker and more chewy. Meanwhile, if the baking pan used is wider, then the flapjack will be crispier and thinner.
