(Easy) Chocolate Orange Cookies Recipe

One for the weekend! Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cookies! Terry isn’t going to get a look in , they’re all mine. Making Chocolate Orange Cookies, which are moist, delicious and crunchy, is of course very easy by following the recipe below.

Ingredients:
  • 200g softened butter
  • 300g soft brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 300g self raising flour
  • 80g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Terry’s chocolate orange ball (20 segments)
  • 1 teaspoon size of orange zest
How to Make Easy Chocolate Orange Cookies:
  1. Preheat oven to 180 c.
  2. Cream butter and sugar l, then beat in vanilla extract and eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl sift flour, cocoa and baking powder together.
  4. Add flour mix to the creamed mix in stages and mix.
  5. Add zest of half an orange and break 8 segments of Terry’s chocolate orange into small pieces and combine.
  6. Spoon a tablespoon of the mix into your hands to make a ball and push very lightly on to a baking tray.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes, when you remove the cookies from the oven they will still be soft, allow you cool slightly before putting the remaining 12 segments into the middle of the cookies for decoration then leave to cool completely.
  8. Serve and enjoy these soft and delicious Chocolate Orange Cookies.
